The approach

About

A still small organisation, proving that we can take back our means of producing online, and asking only to be helped.

The vision

Taking back control of our tools.

We communicate, work, learn and create through digital tools that have become indispensable to our daily lives.

These tools are not mere services. They form part of the infrastructure on which our activities, our businesses and our exchanges rest.

Yet we take little part in their design, or in the decisions that shape how they evolve.

The point is not to rebuild everything, nor to do without what exists. It is to regain the ability to design, produce and evolve our own solutions.

Rebuilding a digital industry means giving ourselves the means to go further. Creating a technical and industrial base on which new projects, new uses and new ideas can emerge.

What we do

Take those means back, one by one.

We build the applications that replace those services. 7 are usable today, openly or in beta, and 2 projects are under way.

Thanks to a shared organisation, a single stream of funding keeps every application alive. The revenue of one funds the others: those that exist, the betas, those planned and those still to be imagined.

We do not ask you to buy into a promise. Try an application: if it serves you, you fund what comes next.

Our ambition

Lighten your everyday digital tasks.

Many applications are built to keep you inside: an endless feed, notifications, counters. We do the opposite.

Our applications are built to get a task done, personal or professional, then let you go. Publish a post, read your mail, find a source, collect a payment: done quickly, and you move on.

What we want to give you back is time. For your work, and for the people around you.

What we stand for

Independent, and paid to stay that way.

Why we do this

We build useful digital tools, sold at a fair price, that respect the data and the independence of the people who use them.

We host them on infrastructure we control, in places we choose, with technologies we can keep running over time.

Designing our software and infrastructure, training our skills, mastering our technologies: this creates activity in France and Europe, keeps know-how here and reduces our dependencies.

Why it is paid

Our products are paid because we want to fund our work through the services we sell, not by bringing investors into the company.

A shareholder expects short-term returns, unrelated to how useful a product is or what its users need. We prefer to decide based on the long run and the quality of what we ship.

Subscriptions, API usage, donations and crowdfunding directly support this approach.

A digital service has costs: infrastructure, compute, storage, maintenance, development, human work. We cover them without selling personal data or exploiting attention. The price reflects the real cost, the usage and what each person can afford.

Why profitability

We seek profitability because it pays for the work, lets us invest, build reserves and develop new products.

Accumulated capital is not for personal enrichment. It serves the company's ability to create, to last and to progressively master its means of production.

We want to keep our products for the long term, without having to sell them in order to grow.

What we commit to

A lasting company, able to fund its development and master its technologies, that helps strengthen digital and industrial capacity in France and Europe.

Our economic success must let us keep creating, investing and improving our tools, while contributing to the common good.

Our priority is the long run and control of our means of production, so that the tools we build stay in the service of the people who use them.

How to help us

Imagine it with your help.

We are few, and we are proving that a lot can already be done. Our one fragility is the lack of financial visibility: we have just laid the base. Help us get past it.

Use

Try an application. If it serves you, your subscription funds all the others.

Share

Tell people around you. Today, that is what we lack most: being known.

Support

A financial contribution, even a modest one, gives us the visibility we lack to move forward.

Propose

An idea for a project, a need nobody covers: what comes next is written with you.

Take part

Marketing, communication, administration, legal, accounting, development: your skills move things faster than anything else.

Encourage

A message, some feedback, a word of support. It counts more than one would think.
